The Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Atlanta Speciality Show
April 5th 2008
The Holiday Inn Convention Center, Forsyth, Georgia, USA

My sincere thanks to the Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Atlanta for their invitation to officiate at their Speciality Show, and what a special show it was too!  Show Secretary Zerelda Butler and her team had worked so hard prior to the show, all the trophies were designed around the show's theme which was 'Through the Looking Glass' it was a sight to behold. The theme had been carried over to the banquet which followed the show and it was here that Graham and I enjoyed a very pleasant evening in good company. My thanks to all the exhibitors for a super entry of 67 dogs which were all presented in tip top condition. I had some hard decisions to make and unfortunately could not award first places to all, however I was pleased with my top winners and wish them every success in the future. It was so nice to meet up with old friends, make new acquaintances and put faces to the names I regularly use on STBEA correspondence. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip over the pond and send heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable.

The Scottish Terrier Club of Victoria Inc. Championship Show
September 22nd 2007
Skye, Victoria, Australia

My visit to Australia was a truly magnificent and memorable occasion and I thank the Scottish Terrier Club of Victoria Inc. for their invitation and the opportunity to visit such a lovely country. The show was superbly organised with everyone being so very friendly and hospitable, on the day and throughout my visit. I thank the exhibitors for their entry, I feel it an honour and a privilege to have been asked to assess their dogs who were all nicely presented and in good condition.

The Swedish Scottish Terrier Club Championship Show
July 21st 2007
Alnarp, Sweden

Judging at my first overseas appointment was an experience I will always remember. From start to finish the hospitality extended by the club was excellent, from my arrival in Sweden until my departure I was superbly looked after. I thank the exhibitors for their entries and would like to say how impressed I was with the sportsmanship that prevailed both during and after the show. My decisions were accepted with such grace, even by the exhibitors that did not receive high places, the pleasant  atmosphere surrounding everyone was so refreshing. I was very pleased with my top winners both well constructed, balanced Scotties presented and exhibited to perfection.
